When it comes to considering cosmetic surgery in Perth, the most important first step all patients should make is to choose their surgeon wisely. This includes:
- Checking the training and qualifications of the surgeon
- Seeking recommendations from other patients
- Asking to see before and after photos
- Ensuring the surgeon is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon (not a doctor using a fake title* like ‘cosmetic doctor’)
We quite often have patients contact Assure Cosmetic Centre and the WA Plastic Surgery Centre to enquire on availability of consultation/surgery dates and surgical costs however, when asked the question of which surgeon they would like to see, in most cases they do not know. Many patients answer with “whoever is the cheapest” or “whoever can perform the operation on xxx date” – these are questions that should not be deciding factors on choosing a surgeon.
