About Dr Hanikeri
Specialist Plastic Surgeon
Dr Mark Hanikeri completed medical training at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 1993 graduating with degrees in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Mark was admitted to a plastic surgery fellowship in 1999 and completed 5 years of specialist training at Royal Perth Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Royal Brisbane Hospital & Royal Children’s Hospital. He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 2004.
Mark then undertook post-fellowship training in London as a Craniofacial and Cosmetic Fellow at Chelsea & Westminster and Royal Marsden Hospitals followed by further experience in paediatric craniofacial, head and neck, cosmetic breast and facial surgery in London and Birmingham, before returning to Perth in 2005.
In addition to his private practice at Assure Cosmetic Centre and the Western Australian Plastic Surgery Centre, Mark is a Visiting Medical Officer for the WA Country Health Service at Albany Health Campus, which services the Great Southern region of Western Australia including Albany, Mount Barker, Denmark, Bremer Bay and Esperance.
