Fractional laser skin rejuvenation is safe if administered by properly qualified medical staff using medical-grade equipment. The main benefit of a medical-grade machine, such as Assure’s Clear + Brilliant is its reliability. A reputable machine gives results that are precise and accurate. When treating your skin, obviously this is paramount. Medical-grade machines are usually only found in medispas, operated by fully-trained clinical staff under the supervision of doctors. During the treatment, Clear + Brilliant’s Intelligent Optical Tracking™ System provides our dermal therapists with precise laser delivery to ensure the device maintains proper contact with your skin and provides a uniform application to all treated areas.
Most patients describe a prickling feeling and an increased sensation of heat during the treatment. For patient comfort, topical anaesthetic ointment will be applied to your skin for 30 minutes before the treatment.
- For the Clear + Brilliant Original treatment – this is a deeper wavelength treatment. Afterwards, you may have mild redness or swelling, which typically subsides within a few hours.
- For the Clear + Brilliant Perméa treatment – this is a more superficial treatment. A topical skincare product, such as an antioxidant serum (e.g. Obagi Professional-C™ serums), will be applied to each treatment area after the treatment is administered. This combination approach decreases post-treatment skin responses such as redness and swelling.
The number of treatments is tailored to your concerns and skincare desires. In recent studies, clients reported visible improvements after 4 to 6 treatments, though many clients choose to have routine treatments as part of their overall skincare regimen.
